Life Coverage Check ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website lifecoveragecheck.net (the "Site") and connects visitors interested in Indexed Universal Life (IUL) insurance with licensed insurance agents in our network. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. Please read it together with our Terms of Service, which governs your use of the Site.
By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
This Policy covers information collected through the Site and through your Submissions to us. It does not cover the privacy practices of the licensed insurance agents or carriers you may be matched with, or of any other third party website. Once an agent or carrier receives your information from us, their own privacy policy governs how they handle it, and we encourage you to review it directly with them.
"Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with you.
"Sensitive Personal Information" means categories of Personal Information given heightened protection under applicable law, such as health information, precise geolocation, and certain financial details.
"Agent" means a licensed insurance agent, agency, or carrier in our network.
"Sale" or "Sharing" has the meaning given under applicable state privacy law, and generally refers to disclosing Personal Information to a third party for money or other valuable consideration, or for cross context behavioral advertising.
When you complete a form on the Site, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, state of residence and zip code, age or date of birth, general health information you choose to share, household income range or other financial details, the coverage amount or goals you are interested in, and any other information you choose to submit.
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device and operating system information, general location at the city or state level, pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on the Site, the website or advertisement that referred you to us, and information collected through cookies and similar technologies described in Section 6.
We may also receive information about you from advertising platforms such as Google, Meta, and YouTube related to ads you interacted with, from publicly available sources used to verify or supplement the information you provide, and from Agents in our network who choose to share updates about your inquiry with us.
We use the information we collect to connect you with a licensed Agent who can discuss Indexed Universal Life policies available in your state, respond to your inquiry and contact you by phone, text message, or email, personalize and improve the content and offers you see on the Site, analyze Site traffic and measure the performance of our advertising, detect and prevent fraud or security incidents, meet our recordkeeping and compliance obligations, and comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service.

This is the primary purpose of the Site. When you submit your information, we share it with one or more licensed Agents so they can contact you about Indexed Universal Life coverage that may fit your needs.
Companies that help us operate the Site, including hosting providers, customer relationship management platforms, telephony and text messaging providers, and analytics providers. These providers may only use your information to perform services on our behalf.
We work with platforms such as Google and Meta to measure how our advertising performs. Where possible, this is done in aggregate form or in a way that does not identify you personally.
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or others.
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Sharing your information with Agents so they can contact you about insurance is the core service the Site provides, and it may meet the legal definition of a sale or sharing under some state privacy laws even though no money changes hands for your specific record. This consent applies even if your phone number is listed on a state or federal Do Not Call registry, and it is not required as a condition of purchasing any product or service. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency may vary. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. You can also withdraw consent using the methods described in Section 10.
Some of the information you share with us, such as income range or general health details, is more sensitive than ordinary contact information. Although Life Coverage Check is a marketing and matching platform rather than a financial institution as defined under the Gramm Leach Bliley Act, we apply similar care to nonpublic personal and financial information, including limiting the parties with whom it is shared, using it only to support the matching purpose described in this Policy, and giving you the ability to limit certain uses as described in Section 10.
You may opt out of future communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message, using the unsubscribe link in any email, or contacting us at [email protected].
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know what Personal Information we collect, the right to delete it, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to limit the use of Sensitive Personal Information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf.
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Montana, among others, may have similar rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain uses of their Personal Information under the laws of their state.
